Nakia Avery

Dr. Nakia Avery is CEO of Avery Consulting Services LLC, bringing more than 30 years of combined experience in leadership, education, counseling, program administration, finance, and organizational development. She holds a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Special Education Leadership and holds professional education credentials across North Carolina, Texas, and Minnesota, including special education, school counseling, and educational administration.

An international speaker, researcher, author, consultant, and curriculum developer, Dr. Avery contributes research and professional expertise to academic and professional communities in the United States and abroad. Her work spans leadership and workforce development, education and special education, compliance, staff training, and organizational improvement, helping agencies and organizations strengthen people, programs, and systems.
